6DOESN’T MY DOC ALREADY GIVE ME THAT INFO?TOP

Your doc only gives you history on car deals that are finalized. Pacecaster predicts individual performances as well as dealership performances by considering all car deals – finalized and in the pipeline.

7WHAT IS BOOKED AND FINALIZED?TOP

A car deal is considered booked when the sales desk receives a recap from f&i. It is finalized when it is posted to accounting.

8WHY ARE THOSE TWO DESIGATIONS IMPORTANT?TOP

Many times the front/f&i gross changes when it gets posted to accounting, and this informs your sales managers, so they can correct future desking errors.

9WHAT ARE COS ADJUSTMENTS?TOP

These are the dreaded charges that sometimes show up after the sale has already been finalized in accounting. They typically are late/after the sale ro’s, inventory schedule cleaning, f&i charge backs, or anything else that gets charged against gross profit.

10WHAT IS THE HEATSHEET?TOP

These are the booked car deals that are not finalized in accounting yet. If after a couple days, a car deal is still in the booked status, that means it isn’t in accounting yet, and a problem may exist that needs high level attention.

11IS THE HEATSHEET THE SAME AS THE CIT LIST?TOP

No, cit is generated after the car deal is finalized in accounting, heatsheet contains car deals that are likely on the street, but not in accounting yet!
